How a weekly pick'em works
Everyone picks the winner of each game on the sheet before the deadline. Each correct pick usually earns one point, and the highest score for the week wins. Because several people can tie, many groups add a tiebreaker, such as guessing the total points in the last game.
Example
A sheet has 10 games and a tiebreaker on the final game's total points. Two players finish with 7 correct picks. The final game ends with 41 total points: one player guessed 38 and the other guessed 47, so the first player wins the tie by being 3 points away instead of 6.
What this tool does and doesn't do
- You can choose upcoming NFL games, or type any game yourself. Times are shown in Eastern Time.
- Your sheet saves in this browser until you choose Save and share online. That needs a free sign-in, and your friends can send picks from the link without an account.
- On a shared sheet, picks stay hidden until they close. NFL results and the standings update by themselves after each game. Results for games you typed are yours to enter.
- Scores come from an automatic feed, which can be late or wrong. As the organizer, you can correct any result and confirm the final standings.
- It doesn't handle money. Your group should agree on its rules before playing.
