If you just use the tools
You don't need an account to make and print a board or sheet. What you type stays in your browser's local storage, and isn't sent to our servers or to analytics.
To delete it, use Start over in the tool or clear this site's data in your browser.
If you save and share a pool
Choosing Save and share online sends your pool to our servers. We then store:
- Your account: your email address and the name you give us or that Google or Facebook shares when you sign in with them.
- The pool: its title, teams, games, names, squares, picks and results.
- Players: the name each player enters, and an email address if they choose to give one.
- Invitations: the addresses you ask us to invite, and whether each invitation was sent.
Who can see a pool
Anyone with a pool's link can see its title, the players' names and its board or standings. Pick'em picks stay hidden until picks close. Players' email addresses aren't shown to anyone in the pool, including the organizer. An address the organizer typed in for an invitation stays visible to that organizer.
How we use email addresses
- To send sign-in links.
- To send invitations an organizer asks for, and updates about a pool you joined or organize.
We don't sell addresses, and we don't send advertising to them. Every invitation and update has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops those emails to that address.
Deleting your information
- Organizers can delete a pool, which removes its players and invitations, or remove a single player.
- Account holders can delete their account under My pools. That also deletes every pool they organize. In other people's pools, their display name stays and their email is removed.
We keep pools and accounts until they're deleted.
Companies that help run the site
- Cloudflare hosts the site and its database, and may process technical information, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and protect the site.
- Resend delivers our email, so it receives the address, subject and content of each message.
- Google and Facebook are involved only if you choose to sign in with them.
Analytics
If you choose Allow, we use Google Analytics to count visits and tool actions, such as a completed board. We don't send the names or other text you enter, or the private address of a shared pool. If you choose No thanks, Google Analytics doesn't load.
Cookies and browser storage
We use one cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived one during Google or Facebook sign-in. If you join a pool without an account, your browser stores a private key so you can come back to your entry.
